Applying online through
kentchoices4u.com
If you are a Kent Year 11 learner you will
have received an unlock (access) code through the post and from
your school. Your parents/carers will also have received a
letter about kentchoices4u.com. The code allows you to apply online
to Kent schools and colleges through kentchoices4u. If you do
not have an unlock code or have lost or forgotten your username and
password, contact the Area
Prospectus Team.
If you are a Year 11 learner from outside
Kent, but are applying to a Kent school or college you can also
apply through kentchoices4u.com. To do this contact the Area
Prospectus Team for an unlock code.
Applying online is quite straightforward and
there is a user guide on the front page of this website which you
can download to help you. However, if you do need any help,
contact the Area prospectus Team who will be happy to assist.
When applying online there are a few golden
rules to think about:
- Before you apply, think carefully about your choice of
course(s), school(s) and or college(s). To help, you
should:
- Attend open evenings (a list of when these are is available
from the front page of this website, under My Area).
- Read the information available on this website and any produced
by the schools and colleges.
- Be realistic about your choices, will you be able to travel
every day to the school/college(s) that interest you? Will you get
the grades you need?
- Speak to people who can help you make your choices –
parents/carers/Connexions Personal Advisers, teachers, friends and
family.
- You only use your unlock code once when you register, after
this you use your username and password. Make sure you
remember your username
and password; you will need them every time you logon.
- If you have an e-mail address, record it in your profile,
e-mail alerts will be sent to you when a school/college responds to
your application.
