General Guidelines for applying  

Students need at least 344 points from their best 8 GCSEs, calculated as shown below:

Short course GCSEs receive half the points of the full course. You will also need to check the online prospectus for the grades required for admission onto your chosen subjects.

Entry requirements: All students should have GCSE grade C in both Mathematics and English, or equivalent.

Level 3 Courses - International Baccalaureate Diploma and A levels:students should have at least a grade B in the subject that they wish to study; for MathsA level and Higher Level I.B. the requirement is grade A. I.B Standard level subjects may sometimes accept students with a C grade.

Level 2 courses (GCSE Equivalent):in some circumstances students will be supported if there is a need to resit their English or Mathematics to improve on their C grade.
